Erik Sande, President, Medavie EMS
Pierre-Yves Julien, CEO, Medavie Inc., along with the Medavie Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Erik Sande as the President of Medavie EMS.
Based in Halifax, Erik will lead Medavie EMS as we continue to strengthen and expand our existing relationships while investigating new opportunities for growth.
Erik has more than 25 years of professional experience across a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, energy and communications. He most recently led the North American operations of a leading global home healthcare technology services company. He brings a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully operate a large organization in an intensely human business. He has lead Canadian, US and International organizations, turning strategic insight into actionable plans and results, but the secret to his success is the strong relationships he develops with people – team members, stakeholders and clients.
Erik received his MBA from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario (London, ON) and, his Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University (Sackville, NB). A dedicated community leader, Erik has participated on numerous volunteer community, charitable and arts boards.
Medavie EMS, a subsidiary of Medavie Inc., manages nine subsidiary companies in the fields of pre-hospital emergency medical services (EMS) and public safety delivery, EMS and clinical training, and innovative health care solutions.
