The Board of Bridgepoint Active Healthcare is pleased to announce the following appointment:
Gail Cook-Bennett is past Chair of the Board of Manulife Financial (2008-2013) and previously served as the first Chair of the Board of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (1998-2008). Over her 35 years as a director of major corporations, she has also served on many Crown, professional, not-for-profit and advisory Boards. She is currently a director of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a member of the National Advisory Board of the Salvation Army. She earned a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Michigan and has been honoured with the Order of Canada, honorary degrees from Carleton University and York University and as a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
