James Cameron grew up in the quiet town of Chippawa, Ont., and has since become one of Hollywood's heavyweights, behind two of the highest-grossing films in history - as the director of Avatar and Titanic. He is also a screenwriter, producer and editor, with a roster of films including The Terminator, Aliens and The Abyss.
Mr. Cameron is co-creator of The Fusion 3D Camera System, a digital high-definition camera system that has helped add another dimension to cinematic viewing; Avatar was filmed with The Fusion 3D Camera System.
In stereoscopic 3D, Mr. Cameron has made a permanent impression on the film hardware and filmmaking industries.
