Ontario Premier Mike Harris has been voted the winner of the Cam Fella Award for his contributions to Canadian harness racing. Of the 16 voters from across Canada who lauded Harris for his reduction of the provincial takeout from wagers, and the introduction of slot machines, only five were from Ontario. A winner must receive more than 75 per cent of the vote. Harris has already been heralded by national thoroughbred interests, when he won the E.P.
