OTTAWA, Nov. 13 - Accessing, exchanging and managing unstructured information software maker Coredge Software Inc. has released Logik 2.5, its tool for electronic knowledge discovery. This newest release features a WorkGroup Edition that can support multiple users in a client-server environment. Logik is a knowledge discovery tool that extracts and organizes related thematic content from repositories of unstructured electronic information such as e-mail, word documents and web content. Logik 2.5 sifts through the repositories of files and dynamically generates a preview in the form of summaries and theme trees. Logik also identifies thematic relationships between different documents and lists the top predominant themes contained within an entire collection of documents, providing an instant snapshot of the content.
Logik is aimed at the legal sector as its first key market. Additional markets include human resources, education, business intelligence and accounting.
