TORONTO, May 27 - Delvinia Inc., producers of the Canadian New Media Awards, have announced the 2002 award winners. Sixty finalists competed in 12 different categories for a Pixel award in recognition of their achievements in new media over the past year.

The 2002 Canadian New Media Awards winners are:

Most Promising New Company of the Year - J!VE Media Technologies, Toronto

Producer of the Year - Dan Fill, Toronto

Programmer of the Year - Dan Zen, Dundas, Ont.

Designer of the Year - Dave Goulden, Calgary, Alberta

Graduate of the Year - Pary Bell, Toronto

Educator of the Year - Sara Diamond, Banff, Alberta

Volunteer of the Year - Chris Carder, Toronto

Employer of the Year - Thindata, Toronto

Company of the Year - Devlin Applied Design, Toronto
