Rogers Cable has launched

its new Rogers Yahoo Hi-Speed Internet Ultra-Lite service. The service is up to twice the speed of dial-up and provides users with the convenience of cable for a monthly fee equivalent to what they currently pay for dial up.

At $19.95 per month, the new service offers speeds of up to 128 kbps download and 64 kbps upload, and removes the burden of having to dial in or log on. It also removes the necessity and expense of a second phone line.

Key aspects of the Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet Ultra-Lite service include a suite of safety and security features with parental controls; Rogers Yahoo Mail, a powerful e-mail system with e-mail anti-virus, SpamGuard Plus and 2 gigabytes of storage; Rogers Yahoo Photos with unlimited storage; Rogers Yahoo Messenger; Internet radio from Rogers Yahoo Music and Rogers Yahoo Games.
