Happy days are indeed here again as Drayton Entertainment will have popular TV star Donny Most (right) wowing audiences at St. Jacobs Country Playhouse in the role of Serge in the hit play ARTSUPPLIED/SUPPLIED

Happy days are indeed here again as Drayton Entertainment will have popular TV star Donny Most (right) wowing audiences at St. Jacobs Country Playhouse in the role of Serge in the hit play ART, which began running on Oct. 2 and continues to Oct. 20.

Most is best known for his role as Ralph Malph in the classic sitcom Happy Days, which ran from 1974 to 1984.

He is a casting coup for Drayton, coming on the heels of its presentation of George Wendt (famous as barfly Norm in Cheers) in Death of a Salesman and Cindy Williams (Shirley Feeney in TV's Laverne and Shirley) in Thoroughly Modern Millie. “Donny Most remains one of Hollywood’s most cherished television actors,” says artistic director Alex Mustakas.

In ART, described as a serious comedy, Most will portray Serge, who buys a controversial abstract painting that provokes a fierce debate over the value of art and tests the limits of his friendships.

Also appearing will be Broadway's Lee MacDougall as Marc and accomplished actor Ralph Small, all under the direction of Max Reimer.

Tickets can be purchased at the St. Jacobs playhouse, www.draytonentertainment.com or by calling (519) 747-7788 or 1-855-drayton (372-9866).
