No question the Oscars were due for a makeover, but is the movie world ready for Chris Rock?
The Academy made a bold move signing Chris Rock to host the annual awards fete. Rock earned his rep in the business by not pulling punches. Certainly it would be nice if he didn't take aim at Michael Jackson in the opening monologue, but everyone knows it's coming.
