For the second consecutive session, a Canadian company focused on the recycling of lithium-ion batteries is finding success. While no major headline came out today, today’s rally follows up Monday’s rally and announcement that the company has entered a 50-50 joint venture with Zenith Chemical Corporation to build a 2,000 metric ton per year lithium-ion battery recycling plant in Taiwan.
Traders couldn’t get their hands on shares of Recyclico Battery Materials Inc. (TSXV:AMY) fast enough as shares traded up to $0.59/share (+22.92%) at the early session high. As previously mentioned, this move is a strong continuation of the rally we saw yesterday.
American Manganese Inc is a critical metals company focused on the recycling of lithium-ion batteries with the RecycLiCo Patented Process. The process provides high extraction of cathode metals, such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, and aluminium at battery-grade purity, with minimal processing steps. It aims to commercialize its breakthrough RecycLiCo Patented Process and become an industry leader in recycling cathode materials from spent lithium-ion batteries. Geographically, it operates in Canada and the United States.
