US Housing Starts November & Softwood Lumber Prices December: 2023

VANCOUVER, BC, Dec. 20, 2023 /CNW/ - Housing starts exploded higher in November 2023, surging by nearly +15% to a 1.56 million unit annualized pace, the best reading since May and second-best in a year and a half. The new housing market remains underpinned by an acute shortage of previously owned homes available for sale.
