    SP Ausnet is an Australia-based company which operates three key Victorian energy networks of electricity transmission, electricity distribution and gas distribution. It also provides technical & utility solutions to help customers manage their energy, water and environmental needs. The Company is organised into following segments: Electricity distribution: The electricity distribution network carries electricity from the high voltage transmission network to end users and the distribution network covers eastern Victoria including the eastern metropolitan region of Melbourne, Gas distribution: The gas distribution network carries natural gas to commercial and residential end users and the distribution network covers central and western Victoria, Electricity transmission: The group owns and manages the vast majority of the electricity transmission network in Victoria. The electricity transmission segment includes both regulated and unregulated electricity transmission assets and revenues. The electricity transmission segment does not purchase or sell electricity, Select Solutions: Select Solutions provides specialist utility related solutions, in particular, metering, monitoring and asset management services, to external parties as well as to all other segments.
