Prince Harry was delighted to hear he has a new nephew or niece on the way – if only because it will make his older brother's life more challenging.

According to People magazine, Prince Harry was in a jovial mood at the Invictus Games in London yesterday when a reporter asked him about the looming arrival of a second royal baby for his brother, Prince William, and his sister-in-law, Kate.

His cheeky response: "I can't wait to see my brother suffer more."

And should the Duke and Duchess have a baby girl? Quipped Prince Harry, "I'd love to see him try and cope with that!"

On a more serious note, he expressed his hope that his brother and sister-in-law can experience the new arrival minus some of the hysteria that accompanied the birth of baby George last year.

"I hope the two of them have the opportunity to go through the process again with a little peace and quiet," said the 29-year-old.

As for any advice or strategy on being a younger sibling, he commented, "There's never been a strategy. I think George will be over the moon. He will be thrilled having another small younger brother or sister."

Of course, it's worth noting that when the new baby is born, Prince Harry will drop one spot in the line of succession to fifth place, following his father, brother, nephew and the newest member of the family.

His reaction to his now-reduced chances of being the King of England: "Great!"
