Virgin Atlantic Airways, the flashy carrier owned by British billionaire Sir Richard Branson, has set June 12 as the startup date on its new daily non-stop service between Toronto and London.

Tickets, beginning at $699 round-trip in economy class, are now on sale. Virgin Atlantic's 747 aircraft will also offer a Premium Economy for passengers paying full fare and an Upper Class section where free massages will be available. The flights will use London's Gatwick airport.

Virgin Atlantic was recently named "Airline of the Year 2001" by OAG Worldwide, a publisher of print and electronic information. Staff
