New York City's Upper West Side has added a new address that already has foodies buzzing. Named after a newspaper from the French Riviera, Nice Matin is the brainchild of Simon Oren, who also owns the Marseille and Pigalle restaurants.

His partner is Andrew D'Amico, the former chef at the celebrated Sign of the Dove, who dishes out classic French fare such as pissaladière, ratatouille, pistou and salade Niçoise. Diners will appreciate the well-priced menu and the space, by Nancy Mah, who also designed Lotus. Nice Matin is located at 201 West 79th St.
