CSPC Pharmaceutical Group ( (HK:1093) ) has shared an update.

CSPC Pharmaceutical Group has received approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration to begin clinical trials of SYS6063 Injection, described as the world’s first mRNA-LNP-based dual-target CAR-T cell therapy. The product is designed to express CARs targeting both CD19 and BCMA, enabling precise elimination of CD19- and BCMA-positive cells and showing strong preclinical safety and efficacy.

The initial clinical indication is relapsed or refractory systemic lupus erythematosus, with potential to extend into other B-cell and plasma cell–mediated autoimmune diseases such as myasthenia gravis, rheumatoid arthritis and ANCA-associated vasculitis, as well as blood cancers including multiple myeloma and B-cell lymphoma. This regulatory milestone strengthens CSPC’s strategic position in the cell therapy field and lays groundwork for further development of in vivo-generated CAR-T and other next-generation cell therapy products, potentially enhancing its competitiveness in cutting-edge immunotherapies.
