iSpecimen Granted Nasdaq Extension to Regain Compliance

Tipranks - Fri Sep 11, 4:42PM CDT

iSpecimen ( (ISPC) ) has issued an update.

On September 8, 2026, iSpecimen received notice from Nasdaq granting an extension until November 25, 2026 to regain compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b), after being notified of a deficiency on May 29, 2026. The Rule requires minimum thresholds for stockholders’ equity, market value of listed securities, or net income, and the company has submitted plans including a closed $2.5 million private placement and a planned $5 million public offering, along with projections indicating stockholders’ equity of approximately $5.1 million through June 30, 2027.

Under the extension terms, iSpecimen must file a publicly available report by November 25, 2026 demonstrating compliance either through disclosure of the remedial transactions and an affirmative statement of regained compliance or by providing a recent balance sheet with pro forma adjustments evidencing sufficient equity. Nasdaq will continue monitoring, and if the company’s periodic report for the year ended December 31, 2026 does not show compliance, iSpecimen could face delisting, although the deficiency letter currently has no immediate effect on the listing or trading of its common stock.

Spark’s Take on ISPC Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ISPC is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by very weak fundamentals—sharp revenue decline, negative gross profit, and ongoing cash burn—alongside a bearish technical trend (price below key moving averages with negative MACD). Corporate events provide some offset via added capital and strategic AI-focused assets, but dilution and execution risk limit the uplift, and valuation is constrained by negative earnings.
